About This Drink
Razorberry Wildberry Smoothie

The 7 Brew Razorberry Wildberry Smoothie is a caffeine-free blended drink that combines Razorberry (7 Brew proprietary intensified raspberry flavor) with wildberry puree and the chain signature ice cream mix, producing a creamy berry drink that ranges from 210 calories in the 10oz Kids size to 740 calories in the 32oz Large. Prices run $3.75 for Kids, $5.25 for Small, $6.25 for Medium, and $7.25 for Large, and every size contains 0mg of caffeine, which makes this one of the few items on the board that works equally well for a 6-year-old and for someone who cut off coffee at noon.

Here is the part most people get wrong: 7 Brew smoothies are not juice-bar smoothies. There is no fresh fruit going into the blender and no yogurt. The crew builds them from flavored fruit purees plus a proprietary dairy ice cream mix - a thick, sweet, vanilla-leaning cream base - and then blends the whole thing with ice. That is exactly why Milk shows up as the only allergen on every size, and why the texture lands closer to a raspberry milkshake than a berry smoothie. If you walk up expecting a tart, thin, fruit-and-ice blend, the richness will surprise you.

What separates Razorberry Wildberry from the more common Strawberry or Banana Strawberry builds is intensity and layering. Razorberry is not just raspberry - it is a concentrated, almost candy-bright version of raspberry with a sharper high note than standard raspberry syrup. Wildberry rounds it out with darker berry depth, the blackberry-and-blueberry side of the spectrum. Stacked together over the ice cream mix, you get a two-tier berry profile: sharp on top, jammy underneath. It is a legitimately good pick for people who normally find fruit smoothies boring, and it is the drink I hand to friends who claim they do not like anything on a coffee menu.

Information for Razorberry Wildberry Smoothie

Caffeine-Free
Confirmed 0mg in Kids, Small, Medium, and Large - no espresso, tea, or energy blend in the build
Contains Milk
The ice cream mix is dairy-based and is the only listed allergen. Not safe for a milk allergy in the standard build
Vegetarian
Suitable for lacto-vegetarians as prepared with no changes needed
Not Vegan (Modifiable)
Ask them to replace the ice cream mix with oat or almond milk. Texture becomes slushier and thinner, and cross-contact with dairy in shared blenders is possible

No nut ingredients in the base recipe, but if you substitute almond milk you add a tree nut. Ask about shared blender protocols if the allergy is severe
Gluten-Free Ingredients
No gluten-containing ingredients in the puree, flavor base, or ice cream mix, though 7 Brew does not certify drinks as gluten-free

TASTE

What Does the 7 Brew Razorberry Wildberry Smoothie Taste Like?

The first thing that hits is aroma, not flavor - lift the lid or take a sip through the straw and you get a burst that smells like raspberry sorbet and berry hard candy, bright enough that it reads slightly artificial in the best possible way. The first sip is sharp raspberry, front and center, with that Razorberry tang that makes the sides of your tongue tighten for half a second before the cream catches it.

Mid-sip is where the wildberry does its work. The flavor drops from bright to dark - blackberry, a little blueberry skin, faintly grape-like - and the ice cream mix smooths the transition so it never tastes sour. Texture is thick but drinkable through a standard straw: finely crushed ice, no chunks, no seeds, no fibrous fruit pulp. It coats the mouth like a thin milkshake rather than a slushy.

The finish is the sweetest part, and it lingers. A Medium carries 109g of sugar, and you feel it on the back end as a jammy, syrup-coated sweetness that sits on your teeth. There is a soft vanilla-cream echo from the base that mellows the last third of the cup. As it melts past the 20-minute mark, the ice separates slightly and the drink turns silkier and even sweeter - which some people prefer and some people find cloying. Half-sweet fixes that entirely.

INGREDIENTS

What's Actually in the 7 Brew Razorberry Wildberry Smoothie?

Razorberry Flavor Base Proprietary 7 Brew concentrated raspberry flavoring - sharper and more candy-forward than standard raspberry syrup, and the dominant note in the cup
Wildberry Puree Dark mixed-berry puree in the blackberry and blueberry range, added for depth and color rather than tartness
Ice Cream Mix Dairy-based sweetened cream base similar to a soft-serve or heavy vanilla cream mix - this is the sole reason Milk is listed as an allergen and where most of the fat content comes from
Ice Blended in to set thickness - ask for extra ice for a firmer spoonable texture or light ice for a thinner sippable one

Ingredients may vary by location. Always confirm with your barista.

First Time?

How to Order the Razorberry Wildberry Smoothie for the First Time

Start with a Small (16oz, $5.25, 350 calories) and order it half-sweet. That combination gives you the honest flavor profile without the sugar crash, and 16oz of ice cream mix is plenty rich. If you are ordering for someone who normally drinks tart berry things - a Very Berry Refresher person, for example - warn them first that this is a creamy drink, not a juice-forward one, or add lemonade from the start.

Tell the crew member exactly this: Small Razorberry Wildberry Smoothie, half-sweet, splash of lemonade. It is a common enough order that nobody blinks, and the 7 Brew drive-thru model means you can ask questions while they build it. If you love it, move up to a Medium next visit rather than jumping to a Large - the 32oz melts faster than most people drink it.

Pro tip: Don't be afraid to ask your brewista for recommendations — they love helping first-timers!

How to get a drink similar to the Razorberry Wildberry Smoothie at other coffee chains

Similar flavored espresso drink
How to Order

The closest berry experiences are a Venti Very Berry Hibiscus Refresher (not blended, not creamy, and it contains roughly 45-70mg of caffeine from green coffee extract) or a custom Strawberry Creme Frappuccino ordered with raspberry syrup added - ask for a Grande Strawberry Creme Frappuccino with 3 pumps raspberry syrup and no whipped cream to get in the neighborhood.

Key Difference

7 Brew uses a breve (half-and-half) base while Starbucks uses 2% milk by default. 7 Brew is typically creamier and sweeter.

Similar flavored drink
How to Order

Ask for a Large smoothie with raspberry and blackberry flavors. Be aware that Dutch Bros smoothies are typically dairy-free by default and use a fruit-blend base rather than an ice cream mix, so the result is noticeably lighter, more sorbet-like, and tarter than the 7 Brew version. Request extra flavor pumps if you want it to read as intensely as Razorberry does.

Key Difference

Dutch Bros tends to run slightly sweeter. Both are drive-thru only chains with a similar vibe.

7 Brew Large (32oz) $7.25 works out to about $0.23 per ounce. A Starbucks Venti Strawberry Creme Frappuccino runs roughly $6.45 for 24oz, or about $0.27 per ounce. You get 8 more ounces at 7 Brew for $0.80 more, and the 7 Brew version is caffeine-free while the Starbucks berry Refresher is not.

Best Time to Enjoy

Because it is 0mg caffeine in every size, this is a genuine anytime drink - which is rare on the 7 Brew board. The sweet spot is mid-afternoon on a hot day, roughly 2pm to 5pm, when you want something cold and substantial but do not want caffeine wrecking your sleep. It also functions as a dessert. A Medium at 540 calories and 109g sugar is closer to a milkshake than a snack, so treating it as an after-dinner split with someone is a smarter play than pairing it with a meal. Evening orders are completely fine caffeine-wise - just know the sugar load is real. Skip it as a breakfast drink unless you order half-sweet, because 2g of protein in a Small will not hold you until lunch.

I have tried every smoothie on the 7 Brew menu and Razorberry Wildberry is the one I keep coming back to. The raspberry is so much louder than a normal raspberry syrup, and the wildberry keeps it from tasting like cough syrup. Tastes like a raspberry milkshake from a really good diner. I get a Medium half-sweet with a splash of lemonade and it is perfect every single time. Bonus that it has zero caffeine so I can grab one at 8pm.

Really solid berry blend and my kids fight over it, which tells you something. Only knocking a star because the standard build is genuinely sweet - I looked up the numbers and a Medium is over 100g of sugar, which is wild for something that says smoothie. Half-sweet fixed it and honestly tasted better because you can actually taste the darker berry part. Also worth knowing it is made with a cream base, not real fruit, so do not order it thinking it is health food.

It is well made, I just wanted something different. I was expecting a tart berry smoothie and got what is basically a berry shake - very thick, very creamy, very sweet on the finish. If that is what you want, it is great. I switched to a Razorberry Lemonade the next visit and that is more my speed. Also the Large separates pretty fast once the ice melts, so I would stick to a Small or Medium.

How to Make the Razorberry Wildberry Smoothie at Home

5 minutes
Ingredients
  • 1/2 cup vanilla ice cream (full-fat, softened 2 minutes on the counter) - this stands in for the 7 Brew ice cream mix
  • 1/3 cup whole milk
  • 1.5 tbsp Torani Raspberry syrup
  • 1 tbsp Monin Wildberry syrup (or Monin Blackberry if Wildberry is unavailable)
  • 1/3 cup frozen mixed berries (blackberry, blueberry, raspberry blend)
  • 1 cup ice
  • Optional: 1 tsp fresh lemon juice to sharpen the finish
  • Optional: 1 tsp Torani Sugar-Free Raspberry to boost flavor without more sugar
Instructions
1

Add the milk and both syrups to the blender first so the syrup does not stick to the bottom.

2

Add the softened vanilla ice cream, then the frozen mixed berries, then the ice on top.

3

Blend on high for 35-45 seconds until completely smooth with no berry seeds detectable - stop and scrape down once if needed.

4

Check thickness: it should pour slowly and hold a soft ribbon. Add 2 tbsp milk if too thick, or 1/4 cup more ice if too thin.

5

Taste and add the lemon juice if it reads too sweet. Serve immediately in a chilled cup with a wide straw.

Lighter Version

Use sugar-free syrups and skip whipped cream to save 100-150 calories.

FAQ

Common Questions

How many calories are in a 7 Brew Razorberry Wildberry Smoothie?
A 7 Brew Razorberry Wildberry Smoothie contains 210 calories in the 10oz Kids size, 350 calories in the 16oz Small, 540 calories in the 24oz Medium, and 740 calories in the 32oz Large. The bulk of those calories come from the dairy ice cream mix and the sweetened Razorberry and wildberry components, not from fat - a Large carries only 7g of fat but 171g of carbohydrates. To cut calories, order it half-sweet (roughly a 30 percent reduction) or substitute almond milk for the ice cream mix, which can bring a Large down to the 400-450 calorie range.
Does the 7 Brew Razorberry Wildberry Smoothie have caffeine?
No. The Razorberry Wildberry Smoothie is completely caffeine-free at 0mg in all four sizes - Kids, Small, Medium, and Large. It is built from fruit flavor components and a dairy ice cream mix with no espresso, cold brew, tea, or energy blend involved. That makes it a safe evening order and one of the few 7 Brew drinks appropriate for young children. Note that some competitor berry drinks, like the Starbucks Very Berry Hibiscus Refresher, do contain caffeine from green coffee extract, so this is not an apples-to-apples swap.
Is the 7 Brew Razorberry Wildberry Smoothie made with real fruit?
Not in the way most people mean. 7 Brew smoothies are built from fruit-flavored purees and a proprietary dairy ice cream mix, then blended with ice - there is no fresh or frozen whole fruit, no yogurt, and no juice base. The wildberry component is a puree, so there is some genuine fruit content, but the Razorberry element is a concentrated proprietary raspberry flavoring. This formulation is also why Milk is the only listed allergen on all sizes and why the drink tastes closer to a berry milkshake than a juice-bar smoothie.
How much sugar is in the Razorberry Wildberry Smoothie?
Sugar content is 43g in the Kids size, 69g in the Small, 109g in the Medium, and 148g in the Large. For context, the American Heart Association recommends a daily added sugar cap of about 25g for women and 36g for men, so even a Small exceeds that. Ordering half-sweet drops a Medium to roughly 70g, and pairing half-sweet with an almond milk substitution can bring it closer to 45-55g. There is no way to make this drink truly low-sugar because the fruit puree itself contributes natural sugars even when you use sugar-free syrup.
What is the difference between Razorberry and Wildberry at 7 Brew?
Razorberry is 7 Brew proprietary intensified raspberry - brighter, sharper, and more candy-like than a standard raspberry syrup, with a noticeable tang on the front of the sip. Wildberry is a darker mixed-berry puree in the blackberry and blueberry range that adds depth and a deeper purple-red color without much acidity. Ordered together in this smoothie, they layer: Razorberry leads, wildberry fills in the middle and back. If you want just one, a straight Razorberry Smoothie is punchier and slightly less complex, while a Wildberry-only build is mellower and jammier.
