About This Drink
Mango Paris Tea

The 7 Brew Mango Paris Tea is a flavored black tea drink that pairs 7 Brew signature Paris tea - a bergamot and vanilla scented black tea blend - with sweet mango syrup, served over ice or hot. A Medium 24oz iced version comes in at just 80 calories, 20g of sugar, and roughly 102mg of caffeine for $4.00, which makes it one of the smartest low-calorie, high-caffeine orders on the entire 7 Brew menu.

Paris tea is the quiet star of the 7 Brew tea lineup. If the name sounds familiar, it is because Paris style tea traces back to the classic loose-leaf blend of black tea, bergamot oil, vanilla, and a soft berry-caramel sweetness. At the drive-thru window, the crew steeps the Paris tea, pumps in mango syrup, and pours it straight over ice in the cup - no blender, no dairy, no ice cream mix. That is a genuinely important distinction at 7 Brew, where smoothies and shakes are built on a dairy ice cream base and the coffee Originals lean on half-and-half. Teas are the lightest category on the board, and the mango version is the most requested flavor add-in for Paris tea alongside peach and raspberry.

What makes this drink worth ordering over a plain iced tea is the interaction between bergamot and mango. Bergamot is a bitter citrus, so it sharpens the mango and keeps it from tasting like flat candy syrup, while the vanilla in the Paris blend rounds the edges and gives the whole thing a creamy impression without a drop of milk. Regulars describe it as a tropical Earl Grey or an iced London Fog that went on vacation. Because syrup pumps scale with size at roughly 20 calories and 5g of sugar each, this is also one of the easiest drinks on the menu to dial in exactly how you want it - half-sweet, sugar-free, extra mango, or with a splash of lemonade.

"Can I get a Medium Mango Paris Tea. Thank you!"

TASTE

What Does the 7 Brew Mango Paris Tea Taste Like?

The first thing you get is aroma, not flavor. Lift the cup and there is a bright citrus-oil perfume from the bergamot layered over ripe mango - closer to mango nectar than fresh fruit, sweet and slightly jammy.

The first sip leads with mango. It is a rounded, syrupy tropical sweetness that coats the front of the tongue, similar to canned Alphonso mango juice rather than a tart green mango. About a second later the Paris tea catches up, and this is where the drink earns its reputation. The bergamot arrives as a floral-citrus lift right down the middle of the palate, cutting the sugar with a faintly bitter orange-peel edge, while the vanilla in the blend spreads out underneath and softens everything into something that tastes almost creamy despite being completely dairy-free.

Mid-sip, the black tea tannins show up. They give the drink structure and a light astringency that keeps it refreshing instead of cloying, which is exactly why this works as an all-day sipper. The finish is clean and dry with lingering vanilla and a faint bergamot bitterness that pulls you back for another sip.

The texture is thin, crisp, and watery in the best way - closer to a bottled iced tea than a latte. Served hot, the balance flips: bergamot and vanilla come forward like a mango London Fog, and the mango reads warmer and more like mango cobbler. Ordered half-sweet, the tea itself becomes the headline and the mango turns into a background accent.

How to Order the Mango Paris Tea for the First Time

Order a Medium 24oz Iced Mango Paris Tea, half sweet, with light ice. That combination gives you the truest read on the drink for $4.00. Half sweet drops you to about 10g of sugar and 50 calories, which lets you actually taste the bergamot and vanilla in the Paris tea instead of just mango syrup. Light ice prevents the bottom third from turning into flavored water while you drive.

If you already know you love sweet fruit drinks, order it standard - four pumps of mango in a Medium at 80 calories total is still one of the lightest sweet drinks on the menu. If you are an Earl Grey drinker, order it standard sweetness once and then experiment with adding a splash of lemonade on your second visit.

Do not order this expecting a smoothie. It is a thin, refreshing brewed tea, not a blended dairy drink. If you want thick and creamy, look at the smoothies and shakes instead. And if you are ordering for a kid, remember this is a real caffeinated black tea - a Kids size still has about 43mg of caffeine.

How to get a drink similar to the Mango Paris Tea at other coffee chains

Similar flavored espresso drink
How to Order

Say: Venti Iced Black Tea, unsweetened, with 3 pumps of vanilla syrup. Starbucks does not carry a mango syrup or an Earl Grey style bergamot iced tea base in most US stores, and the Mango Dragonfruit Refresher is a fruit juice base with green coffee extract, not brewed tea. The honest closest match is an unsweetened Iced Black Tea with vanilla, which gets you the tea-plus-vanilla half of the drink but misses the bergamot and the mango entirely.

Key Difference

7 Brew uses a breve (half-and-half) base while Starbucks uses 2% milk by default. 7 Brew is typically creamier and sweeter.

Similar flavored drink
How to Order

Say: Medium iced black tea with 3 pumps of mango, light ice. Dutch Bros does stock mango syrup (it appears in their Rebels and lemonades), so the fruit half is a genuine match. What you cannot get is the Paris component - Dutch Bros brews plain black and green tea with no bergamot or vanilla blend, so the result tastes like a straightforward mango iced tea without the floral Earl Grey lift. Add 1 pump of vanilla to get closer.

Key Difference

Dutch Bros tends to run slightly sweeter. Both are drive-thru only chains with a similar vibe.

7 Brew Large (32oz): $4.75 = about $0.15 per oz. Starbucks Venti Iced Black Tea (24oz): about $3.95 = about $0.16 per oz, and vanilla pumps push it to roughly $4.65. You get 8oz more drink at 7 Brew for roughly $0.10 more.

Best Time to Enjoy

This is a mid-morning through mid-afternoon drink. With roughly 102mg of caffeine in a Medium, it hits the sweet spot between an unhelpful decaf and a cold brew that leaves you wired at 9pm. Many regulars use it as a 2pm reset when they have already had coffee in the morning and do not want another 200mg-plus espresso drink. It shines hardest in warm weather. The tannins in the black tea make it genuinely thirst-quenching in a way sugary blended drinks never manage, and at 80 calories a Medium it does not sit heavy after lunch. Pair the iced version with anything spicy or fried - the bergamot cuts through richness.

I have gone through a phase with basically every drink on this menu and the Mango Paris Tea is the one I keep coming back to. It is 80 calories for a medium and it still tastes like a treat. The bergamot is what makes it - it stops the mango from tasting like a melted popsicle and gives it this fancy floral thing. I get mine half sweet with light ice and it is perfect on a 95 degree afternoon. Also the caffeine is enough to get me through a shift without the jitters I get from cold brew.

Marcus Whitfield1 month ago

Really solid iced tea and a great value at $4.00 for a 24oz. My only note is that the standard build is sweeter than I expected for a tea - four pumps of mango in a medium is a lot. Once I started asking for half sweet it became a regular order for me. The hot version is underrated too, tastes like a mango London Fog. Docking one star only because the ice melt makes the last few inches pretty watery if you sip slow.

Rachel Nakamura2 months ago

This is fine but I think I just prefer the fruit teas without the bergamot. The Paris base has a perfume-y quality that fights with the mango for me, and there is a little bitterness on the finish from the black tea. My teenager loves it, so it is clearly a preference thing. If you want straight tropical fruit flavor I would get a mango lemonade instead. If you actually like Earl Grey, ignore me and get this.

Copycat Recipe

How to Make the Mango Paris Tea at Home

5 minutes
Ingredients
  • 2 bags Harney and Sons Paris tea (the closest commercial match) OR 2 bags Twinings Earl Grey plus 1/4 tsp pure vanilla extract
  • 8 oz filtered water at 205F for brewing
  • 1.5 tbsp (about 4 pumps) Torani Mango syrup, or Monin Mango puree syrup for a fuller fruit body
  • 1 cup ice, plus more to fill
  • Optional: 1 tsp Torani Vanilla syrup for extra creaminess
  • Optional: 2 oz oat milk for a mango London Fog version
Instructions
1

Steep 2 Paris tea bags in 8 oz of 205F water for 4 minutes. Do not go past 5 minutes or the tannins turn harsh and bitter.

2

Remove the tea bags and, if using the Earl Grey substitute, stir in 1/4 tsp vanilla extract while the tea is still hot so it dissolves fully.

3

Add 1.5 tbsp Torani Mango syrup to the hot tea and stir for 15 seconds. Adding syrup while hot is the trick - it blends evenly instead of pooling at the bottom over ice.

4

Let the tea cool for 5 minutes, or pour it over 1 cup of ice in a shaker and shake hard for 10 seconds to flash-chill it. Shaking also gives it the light foam you see on a fresh drive-thru pour.

5

Fill a 24 oz cup with ice, pour the tea over, and top with cold water to reach 24 oz. This matches the 7 Brew dilution ratio and lands you around 80 calories.

6

For the hot version, skip the ice and water, keep the tea at 8-12 oz, and add 2 oz of steamed oat milk plus 1 tsp vanilla syrup.

Lighter Version

Use sugar-free syrups and skip whipped cream to save 100-150 calories.

FAQ

Common Questions

How many calories are in a 7 Brew Mango Paris Tea?
A 7 Brew Mango Paris Tea ranges from 20 calories in a Kids 10oz to 120 calories in a Large 32oz. A Small 16oz is 40 calories, and the most popular Medium 24oz is 80 calories with 20g of carbs and 20g of sugar. Every size has 0g fat and 0g protein. All of the calories come from the mango syrup, since brewed Paris tea and ice contribute essentially none - each pump of syrup is about 20 calories and 5g of sugar. Ordering half-sweet cuts a Medium to roughly 50 calories, and requesting sugar-free mango syrup brings it down to around 5-10 calories.
How much caffeine is in a 7 Brew Mango Paris Tea?
The Mango Paris Tea contains roughly 43mg of caffeine in a Kids 10oz, 68mg in a Small 16oz, 102mg in a Medium 24oz, and 136mg in a Large 32oz. All of it is naturally occurring caffeine from the black tea used in the Paris blend, not espresso. For context, a Medium has about as much caffeine as one 8oz cup of drip coffee, and a Large has less than half of what you would get from a Large 7 Brew Cold Brew. If you want the same flavor with zero caffeine, ask for a Mango Lemonade or a Mango 7 Fizz instead - both are caffeine-free.
What is Paris tea at 7 Brew?
Paris tea at 7 Brew is a flavored black tea blend scented with bergamot and vanilla. It tastes like a cross between Earl Grey and a vanilla creme tea - citrusy and floral up front from the bergamot oil, with a soft vanilla sweetness underneath and a dry black-tea finish. It is brewed in-store and served hot or poured over ice, and it is the most popular base for fruit-flavored tea orders at 7 Brew. Mango, peach, and raspberry are the three most common flavors added to it. Paris tea is naturally dairy-free and contains no sugar on its own, so all the calories in a Mango Paris Tea come from the added syrup.
Is the 7 Brew Mango Paris Tea dairy-free and vegan?
Yes. As ordered standard, the Mango Paris Tea contains only brewed black tea, water, mango syrup, and ice, with no listed allergens - no milk, soy, egg, or nuts. That makes it both dairy-free and vegan, and it is one of the safest picks for dairy-free customers at 7 Brew since it never touches the ice cream mix used in the smoothies and shakes. If you want a creamy version, ask for a splash of oat or almond milk to keep it dairy-free, or half-and-half if dairy is not an issue (that adds roughly 30-60 calories and introduces Milk as an allergen).
Can you get the Mango Paris Tea hot, and is it any good?
Yes, the Mango Paris Tea is available hot in all sizes at the same prices - $1.75 Kids, $3.25 Small, $4.00 Medium, $4.75 Large - and the nutrition is essentially identical since only the ice changes. Hot completely shifts the balance: the bergamot and vanilla aromatics bloom in the steam and lead the drink, while the mango tastes deeper and warmer, closer to mango cobbler than mango juice. Fans often describe the hot version as a mango London Fog. Add a splash of steamed oat milk and 1 pump of vanilla for the closest thing 7 Brew has to a true tea latte.
